Jennifer is an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader. In 2001, she founded Makeyla Solutions Limited, a successful business management solutions company, and has steered it through significant growth and milestones over the years. The company was awarded the prestigious “Top Tenant Award” in 2002 while operating from the Technology Innovation Centre.

Under Jennifer’s leadership, Makeyla Solutions has implemented over 100 business management solutions for a diverse range of clients, including notable organizations such as IronRock Insurance, National Rums of Jamaica, and the Ministry of Local Government Municipalities in Jamaica. In recognition of her contributions and leadership, Jennifer was awarded the “Women in Business” award in 2004.

With over Twenty (20) years’ experience in the industry, Jennifer now manages her team of Analysts, System Engineers and Accountants to provide the best solution to businesses throughout the Caribbean.  Since 2001, Jennifer has successfully handled the accounts for companies such as KPMG Peat Marwick, British Caribbean Insurance Company, Cayman Airways, ICD Group of Companies, IronRock Insurance, Child Protection and Family Services Agency, Margaritaville, National Rums of Jamaica and the Municipal Corporations of Jamaica

In 2014, Jennifer designed the HonorePay application, which allows parents to conveniently pay tuition and other school fees online. This application has gained traction and is actively improving processes throughout Jamaica.

In 2018, Jennifer expanded her reach as a reseller for FACTS International in Canada, following the success of the Caribbean collaboration. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Jennifer and her team have resumed activities in Canada, actively supporting schools with mobile applications, training, and ongoing support.
